Making business meetings safe

The risk areas

World Health Organisation (WHO) advises that any situation in which people are in close proximity to one another for long periods of time increases the risk of transmission. Indoor locations, especially settings where there is poor ventilation, are riskier than outdoor locations.

Boardrooms, meeting rooms and reception areas are prime risk areas for transmission of respiratory diseases such as covid and flu.

The problem

Ventilation systems in buildings are typically unable to remove airborne aerosol particles that carry pathogens because they provide insufficient air changes per hour and air movement patterns tend to encourage aerosol particles to remain airborne.

Upgrading ventilation systems in existing buildings is rarely possible or is prohibitively  expensive.

Hospitality

Close contact settings, where people have conversations near each other, mean viruses such as covid and flu spread more easily.

Persons serving in coffee shops, fast food outlets and hotel receptions are all at risk of catching and super-spreading respiratory disease.

Airshield protects against airborne transmission

Airshield is more effective at preventing aerosol transmission than surgical masks.

Airshield's efficacy has been validated through comprehensive testing by Nottingham Trent University which showed that Airshield® reduced the number of aerosol particles transmitted by 99%.

Rapid deployment

Airshield is a self-contained unit that only requires a standard mains power supply to enable rapid roll out and activation.

Custom options allow integration of Airshield into boardroom and meeting room tables, reception desks and serving counters.
